I did that to an LP borrowed from the library once (left it in an overheated car). Turns out my dad hadn't the foresight to know he was looking at alternative crafts.
I came home from school when I was in eighth grade to find that my mother had melted down my Manfred Mann album, containing my very favorite song "Do Wa Ditty". I was devastated. :-(.
My girls and I are going to make one of these for their room for Halloween...but believe me, I will make sure it's not one of their favorite albums first!

ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of moonlight. And madness.
ReplyDeleteOh so retrolicious!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! Who knew a record bowl could be so useful?

ReplyDeleteHmmmm, and here I was laughing at the local thrift store's supply of old, obscure (and not in a good way) records the other day. They were cheap...
