cutesy embroidery

got these old transfers from my memaw recently (click on image to enlarge):

ahh geez.... too cute! the stewed pear makes me laugh.

since all of these sayings may not apply, i think it would be a better idea to just do a whole mess of towels in one design... "stubborn as a mule" would be fitting.

and for this set..."hot as a pepper" or better yet, "easy as pie"!

Are there any "Drunk as a Skunk" designs? I know someone a set of those tea towels would be perfect for!

So glad your back! Missed the action over here. I love the embroidery. And, I saw those nursery decals on Ebay a few years ago, and swore to use them one day!

I'm so glad you are back in the blogsphere! I've missed your sassy style and cooking adventures... so has the spouse.

just your S & P connection checking in here. Behind a good deal on my blog reading. Love the transfers you got from you Mum. Haven't seen those in a long time. And PB's used-to-be room is GREAT! I too would like to see what his big boy room looks like! Hope you're back blogging regularly soon, girl!

Your house may well be cuter than mine, but devoted my life to gathering lots of cute "stuff". You go girl.
