Stanley Flex Bowl Set

I found these tupperware-ish plastic storage bowls at an estate sale (5 bucks for the set).

The lids say "Stanley Flex" however, I couldn't find any information about the company.
I love the color combination together.  The yellow and brown bowl nest inside the teal one making them easy to store in a smaller space.

Just another one of my favorite things from around the house!

Those are adorable, Mary, and a great find! Apparently, they are a rare item. I did a little digging and found that the Stanley Home Products Company was started in 1931 and they are still in business today and the name Stanhome Inc, though it looks like the primary products currently marketed are cleaning supplies. What I found most fascinating is that the company invented the home hostess party! Many direct sales pioneers got there start by first working with Stanley Home Products, including Mary Kay Ash (Mary Kay) and Brownie Wise (Tupperware).

Here's an interesting article I found with more information about the company. I hope you enjoy! http://www.company-histories.com/Stanhome-Inc-Company-History.html

So awesome Jenn! Thanks for all that info! I tried to find out something about the company when writing this post to no avail. I love to learn about the history of stuff and the different connections it may have to other things or products!

Thanks Christina!
I really appreciate the extra info. I'll have to take a moment to look around that website more for other products to see if they may have little nuggets of info too! When I posted about the 'new' hand mixer I got a few posts back I couldn't find much info so I'll look in there.

Jenn,
I just got a chance to read the article you told me about and was so surprised to learn that those overly sapply, yet highly collectible Precious Moments figurines are owned by Stanhome!

I still have these bowls. The large is pink, the mid size is yellow and my small is the greenish/blue. In 1958 my mother held one of those demo parties and the bowls were her gift. Mom has been gone 20 years. I still use the bowls.
