For the holiday themed Tie One On, I made my apron from a 1950's Christmas tree skirt and some vintage taffeta ribbon for the tie. I've had the tree skirt for a few years and think I like it much better as an apron. And as I have mentioned before, one of my New Year's resolutions is to start doing staged photographs and better background sets. Here are a few from this 'photo shot' :
Speaking of presents... I have just 2 more posts to do that involve Christmas and they're all about presents! Soon, darlings, soon!

ha! I love the shaking present pic. Love the apron too.
I love your apron way more than is appropriate and have lust in my heart for the black dress with awesome sash.
Thanks for making me commit the whole envy sin on the very first day of 2006, you craftstress.
I love the tree skirt on the TREE too!

Found you through tie one on. LOVE it. Love everything. Wickedly jealous.
Oh, just great! LOVE the apron, love your photos!
Great use of that sweet ol' tree skirt. I really looks like it prefers being an apron and besides, it looks much better on you than a tree.
Uh, that would be "It", not "I".
