Lassoing the Moon


 One of mine and Mr. Husband Sir's (aka Chip) favorite movies is It's A Wonderful Life.  When he proposed to me he decorated the living room in prints portraying travel posters all over the place just like the honeymoon scene in the movie.   He also hung a big huge yellow beach ball suspended from the ceiling with a piece of paper taped on it saying "The Moon".  That year for christmas I made him this embroidery piece based after the drawing seen in the film, to kind of commemorate our engagement. I changed up the look of the original figure to represent Mr. Husband as a Mexican Wrestler, which is his persona for a local horror host show he costars in.
