I picked up this cutie ceramic JOL at a thrift for one buck, but it needed some help.
BEFORE
It was painted very blandly with iridescent paints along with one of the mice missing an ear.
AFTER
I started off by giving the JOL a bit of visual depth by adding black acrylic paint in his orifices and within his crevices.
The JOL section is glazed so it's kinda there just for looks and will rub off if it gets wet.
Next I repainted the little cute mice with a more rustic look, again using acrylic paint.
I also fixed little guy's ear using a bit of air dry clay that I shaped and glued into place.
It was a fun challenge to fix this cutie up!
