Simplicity 1962: Lots of Tops

Also in the Simplicity 1962 Spring pattern fashion catalog are several short helpful articles.

My favorite one was about doing some quick sewing and trimming
to make three tops from one pattern all at the same time.

They recommend you assembly line the whole process.  Layout your three different fabrics on top of each other and cut out the pattern all at once.  Next do all the darts and seams. Lastly trim each with individual personality.

Only I see a couple of hitches.  One of the tops is not the same length so it will have to be cut again with the pattern and they forgot to mention the fact you will have to switch out thread and bobbin for each top depending on the fabric colors, which goes against their idea of assembly line making three different fashioned tops all at the same time.
Well, still, three cute tops, all a little different from one pattern is still fun!

All pattern envelope source images came from various sites including: vintagepatterns.wikiaebay, and etsy
