Here is a small sampling of our vintage Silver Springs souvenirs.
Back in the day Silver Springs was known for cranking out copious amounts of souvenirs so we have our fair share in abundance.
Above is a souvenir folder of a picture of yourself and a bunch of people you never met before.
A glass, a booklet of postcards, and a late century (70s) brochure. I see the brochure contains a map of Florida. In modern times it would be covered with "Avoid", "Avoid", "Avoid" etc.....
These three pieces are my favorites and the oldest in the collection, dating to the 40s and 50s.
A historical booklet with a serving suggestion photo op involving The Lucky Palm or the Horseshoe Palm on the cover.
And this linen postcard, with the palm sans chick but with an amazing shot of a glass bottom boat.
I personally love the palm and don't tire of its presence in their materials...I wish they would use it in their modern ones but it's grown to the point now it's kinda wonky. Yes! It's still there!
Check out a couple of Silver Springs trips along with me posing with the palm!
